COOPERATIVE TREE PLANTER RENTAL AGREEMENT
1. Renter agrees to pay the Jackson County Conservation District a rental fee for the use of the District’s tree planter at $20.00/day plus $10.00/1,000 trees planted. Payment in full will be expected within 30 days from use of said tree planter. 2. Instructions for using the tree planter will be furnished by the District. 3. Transportation of the District’s tree planter will be the responsibility of the renter. The renter will abide by all Michigan road and transportation laws while transporting the planter. 4. All damages due to misuse or negligence on the part of the renter will be paid by the renter as determined by the District. Further, in no event will the District be liable for incidental or consequential damages or injuries, including, but not limited to loss of crops, loss of profits, rental of substitute equipment or other commercial loss. Maintenance resulting from reasonable wear and tear will be the responsibility of the District. 5. Renter agrees to operate the tree planter according to the Operator’s Manual provided by the District.
