Michigan Conservation & Climate Initiative

MCCI is a joint project between the Delta Institute, Michigan’s Conservation Districts and the Michigan Department of Agriculture.  The project allows farmers and landowners in Michigan to earn greenhouse gas emissions credits when they use conservation tillage, plant trees and grasses or install manure digesters.  Credits can then be traded on the Chicago Climate Exchange.
